Dani Brown’s “Storytime”

As Chris and I will surely tell you, audiobooks are really popular these days. No matter what type of book it is, you can catch plenty of earnest readers plugging in a pair of earbuds or flipping to a downloaded eBook in their car and giving a listen to either a book they have read or haven’t cracked open yet. This is even a big market for short stories, as listeners/readers maybe have a few minutes to catch a story on a podcast or a youtube site.

Any way, we get to experience some great writing is great, Chris and I always say.

Author Dani Brown, “The Queen of Filth,” reads short stories on her Storytime channel, and you need to give a listen…or maybe even contribute a story or two. Chris and I had occasion to get to know Dani, appearing as she does alongside us in the just released Unthinkable Tales Anthology Volume Five (which you can buy here: Unthinkable Tales Anthology Volume Five – Kindle edition by Brown, Dani, Christian, M., Greco Jr., Ralph, Hughes, Rhys. Dani’s writing has amassed a rabid following for her weird and disturbing tales, and I find her a lady after my own heart, managing as she does to merge erotica with horror and working her imagination into and around lots of avenues and byways that make the reader’s skin crawl…in the very best way.

She is also the kind of writer Chris and I try hard to be welcoming and so supportive to her fellow scribes, which she does on her Storytime portal. Dani welcomes authors to submit their stories, and you can read her guidelines and find where to submit here:
